MASSE GARNERS SUPPORT FOR SINGLE EVENT SPORTS BETTING

Niagara Falls, ON – Today, Brian Masse M.P. (Windsor West), NDP Innovation, Science, Economic Development and Auto Critic, is in Niagara and Toronto to consult with the Fallsview and Woodbine casinos on the need for the legalization of single event sports betting in Canada. As the state of Michigan has implemented legislation that will allow for single betting and sports betting, there is an urgency to legalize single event sports betting in Canada before casinos here lag behind in attracting and retaining their customers. MP Masse is garnering support and is requesting the Prime Minister to act, before the House of Commons returns to session in Parliament.
