Washington, D.C. – Today, as part of a five member bipartisan delegation with the Canada/ United States Inter-parliamentary Association Brian Masse M.P. (Windsor West), Digital Government, NDP Innovation, Science, Economic Development and Auto Critic, is attending the Annual NGA winter meeting from February 7-10, 2020. The Canadian delegation will join governors, policy experts, business leaders and state staff for the annual Winter Meeting held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The National Governors Association is a bipartisan organization representing governors from the 55 states and territories. Through the NGA, governors identify priority issues and deal with matters of public policy and governance at the state, national and global levels.

Throughout the weekend Masse will be attending plenary sessions and meeting with the following Governors in private meetings to discuss issues relevant to both Canada and United States: Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), Gov. Janet Mills (D-MA), Gov. John Carney (D-DE), Gov. Steve Bullock (D-MT) and Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND).
