Brian Masse and the NDP are delivering the dental care families in Windsor: The NDP’s proposed dental care plan would cover 6.5 million people across the country and save the average family $1,200 a year
WINDSOR –People in Windsor have been through so much over the past two years. Now, with the cost of living on the rise and the cost of housing in the city at an all time high, families are having a harder time making ends meet. The NDP and local MP Brian Masse have committed to using their power to fight for everyday people and deliver the biggest expansion of health care in a generation – with dental care and pharmacare– and help for those struggling to find a place to live.
“There are so many families in Windsor who can’t afford regular trips to the dentist which cost people hundreds of dollars. With the cost of gas, groceries and housing skyrocketing, how can anyone be expected to pay for a trip to the dentist, “ said Masse. “The long-term impacts of this are devastating and end up costing people even more. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done to secure important help for families in Windsor. People will be much better off because of New Democrats. “
The agreement between the Liberals and New Democrats will ensure, among other things, dental care for millions of uninsured Canadians, beginning with children under 12 years-old, a pathway forward for drug medication coverage for all Canadians and help for people struggling to find a home they can afford in the communities where they live and work.
“Canadians expect us to work together to get things done for them and that’s what we’re committed to doing, “added Masse. “We will continue to push the Liberals to get even more help for families here in Windsor and across the country. “
