NDP AIMS TO MODERNIZE CROWN COPYRIGHT

OTTAWA — NDP Critic for Innovation, Science and Economic Development, Brian Masse, will hold a media availability to discuss his Private Member’s Bill that aims to modernize the current crown copyright by making almost all government documents and publications public, opening up government. Masse will be joined by Amanda Wakaruk (Copyright Librarian University of Alberta), Katherine MccColgan (Executive Director of the Canadian Federation of Library Associations),  and Julie Morin (Canadian Association of Research Libraries.
